• The articles themselves are not available on line.  The actual newspapers may be read at Current Periodicals & Microformat on the second floor, West Wing of the MSU Main Library.  However, articles from the current years' newspapers are available at the State News web site, where they may be searched by keyword.
• The database doesn't contain a reference to every article in the State News.  Most articles dealing with topics specific to campus, or campus reaction to outside events, are in the index.  Also, most articles written by State News staff writers are in the index.  However, articles dealing exclusively with state, national, or international news events are not in the index.
